Who Got Voted Off American Idol April 21? 2010 American Idol Results Top 7.  Tonight was yet another episode of American Idol, and it was many people’s favorite episode of the week – finding out who was voted off.

Of course we already know that the Idol favorites such as Crystal Bowersox and Michael Lynche were safe.

In the bottom 3 of the top 7 were Casey James, Tim Urban, and Aaron Kelly.  Casey James is one of the ones who appears to be a favorite, and his handsome charm should keep him in the game for at least a while longer.

Aaron Kelly and Tim Urban are two contestants we never really thought would make it all the way – not that they aren’t talented it’s just that they lack the je ne sais quoi that Crystal Bowersox has.

Tonight it was Tim Urban who was voted off.  He made it quite far for someone who isn’t really supposed to be there. He was selected for Idol after Chris Golightly was disqualified for a contract dispute.

Still yet, Tim Urban has come a long way.  He’s improved and honed in his talents and has become an exemplary model of how an underdog can rise to the top.  Even though he was voted off…he’s still a winner.
