iPhone 4.0 4g OS Release Date & Apple iPhone 4g HD

April 13th, 2010

iPhone 4.0 4g OS Release Date & Apple iPhone 4g HD.  Few things have been looked forward too quite as much as the release of a new iPhone.  The iPhone 4.0 OS was unveiled last Thursday and boasts 100 + new features. With the advent of the new 4.0 OS, there’s hope of a newly redesigned Apple iPhone 4.0 4g HD.

What are some of the exciting features? Newly redesigned mail allows users to have one inbox with all their accounts.  It’s easy to flip through all your accounts in one account.

iBooks is also compatible with the iPhone 4.0 OS.  Currently, iBooks is only used for the iPad.  The iPhone 4.0 4g HD will allow you to read your favorite books on the go.

MULTITASKING.  Finally! Apple will allow you to multitask, meaning run more than one app at a time.  NO more shutting down one app to start up another. HOWEVER – this is only possible with the iPhone 3gs, not the iPhone 3g or the original iPhone.

Organization – organize your iPhone apps into folders so you aren’t hunting all over for that ONE app.  Hopefully, this will inspire people to buy even more applications for their iPhones.

Blackberry beware! The iPhone 4.0 OS has more enterprise functions designed with the business user in mind. Data security, better mail connections, and wireless app updates all help the Apple iPad fleet. There’s also SSL VPN connectivity.

So when is the iPhone 4.0 4g HD coming out? The operating system will be available in the Summer of 2010.  Don’t be surprised if there is a shiny new handset to go along with it available sometime shortly thereafter.
