Apple iPad Tablet Release 4 Days Awaits and iPad Features, Review, and Apple iPad Cost.  In only four days, Americans will flock to Apple stores and electronic retailers around the country in hopes of snatching up an Apple iPad.  Those who pre-ordered their product before March 26 can expect a special delivery on that opening day.  On the other hand, those that procrastinated could have to wait until April 12 to receive their product.

There are rumors that some retailers have a short supply of the iPad.  Best Buy is rumored to only have 15 units per store, and those units won’t come in until April 2nd. Click here to read about the iPad shortage and how it could affect you.

There are mixed reviews of the iPad, and the true test will be what consumers think of the product once they snatch them up.  Some don’t like that you can only run one app or one session of Safari at a time.  Others hail the state of the art touch pad and other sleek features.

The cost of the Apple iPad is pretty decent. The Wi-Fi only model comes in at $499-$699 for the 16GB – 64GB of memory.  The Wi-Fi plus 3G model starts at $629-$829 for the same amount of memory, and an unlimited data plan for the product is $30 monthly.

Many of the popular iPhone apps will work with the iPad.  In addition, developers are working diligently to have special apps written just for the iPad.  Expect to be able to have an e-reader, netbook, and portable media centerpiece all in one.

Don’t forget about accessories! Apple is selling great iPad covers and peripherals that will help you make sure you keep your iPad in tip-top shape.
