Health Care Reform Bill Summary 2010 Obama Signs Health Care Reform Bill.  In a landmark victory, the President finally got what he’s been begging for during his presidency – health care reform.  The text, details, and summary of the bill concern many Americans who just don’t understand what is going on.

I wish we could summarize the health care bill in a simple post and make it all make sense to the world.  However, no one seems to fully understand the implications of health care reform, and concerned citizens still want to try to read the thousands of pages of complicated text to understand how it affects them.

Some of the most pressing questions are:

How much does this bill actually cost?

Will I get to keep my current health insurance?

How much will my taxes go up?

Will the bill make the cost of health care go down?

Will the bill bankrupt Medicare?

How will the bill affect my children later in life?

Unfortunately, we don’t have all the answers. All we know is what politicians tell us, and there aren’t any conclusive answers coming from Capital Hill.  Listen to the majority of the Democrats and they will tell you that the bill solves all the problems our country faces.  Listen to the Republicans and the bill is one big gigantic disaster that will eventually squelch our nation.
