1st Round 2010 Bracket Updates: NCAA Basketball Tournament and March Madness
March 20th, 2010
8 AM 2010 Bracket Updates: NCAA Basketball Tournament and March Madness. Today is another day in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament/March Madness. With games just hours away, there’s never been a better time but the present to download a printable bracket and update your predictions.
After all, with the upsets in the first round (along with a few close calls!) there are many things to be taken in to consideration.
You can cross Vanderbilt and Georgetown off your list today. They won’t be playing as they were eliminated in the first round. Michigan State fans can breathe a sigh of relief after narrowly escaping an embarrasing upset from the New Mexico State team.
Today, 8 games will be played and tomorrow an additional 8 games will be played. From these 16 games we will get our sweet sixteen?
Who do you think will make it to the sweet 16? Our predictions are:
Villanova, Butler, Tennessee, Kansas, Baylor, New Mexico, Kansas State, Kentucky, Syracuse, Ohio State, Michigan State, Missouri, Cornell, Xavier, Purdue, and Duke.
From there, teams like Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and Kansas State are all set up to keep going. They are all teams that are in some of the top brackets in the final four slot. Barring some unforseen upset, Kentucky and Kansas should be the two to make it all the way.
How have you updated your brackets? Do you see the landscape of the tourney changing as we keep on?
