Octomom Foreclosure – 14 Children Could Be Homeless
March 20th, 2010
Octomom Foreclosure – 14 Children Could Be Homeless. Nadya Suleman, aka the “Octomom” faces forclosure, leaving her and her 14 children homeless. We all know that the housing market isn’t exactly strong, and we know that the Octomom doesn’t always make the wisest decision, so you have to wonder if this is all that surprising.
Amer Haddadin Sole the house top Nadya’s father, and didn’t charge them any interest until March. A balloon payment of $450,000 was then due.
Even though you would think that the money that Nadya earned for various reality TV show and documentary deals would have went to pay for her home, it’s important to realize that caring for 14 young children is very expensive.
The owner of the home is giving Nadya until Tuesday to make arrangements to pay, or else he is going to start foreclosure procedures against her.
Nadya’s attorney notes that his client leases the house from her dad. Her dad is the one that should be making payments, according to the attorney.
Nadya is looking for more TV work. Perhaps if she gets a new deal in the near future, she will be able to save the home that she shares with her children.
Octomom’s foreclosure is only the latest in a slew of foreclosures. The housing market has collapsed, as it is harder and harder for people to make payments on their home.
What do you think about Octomom’s current situation?
