March Madness 2010 Predictions are Available (Jay Bilas, Dick Vitale, Obama Predictions).  Many predictions for the 2010 March Madness basketball event are available now from a variety of sources. Today is the big day where all the games begin, and after the next couple of days 64 hopeful teams will be whittled down to 32.  Those that lose in round 1 are eliminated from the tournament, and the remaining 32 keep competing until we have the 2 teams that will show down on April 5 in Indianapolis.

What kind of predictions can be made? There are a variety of predictions out there, and many place Kansas and Kentucky in the two main seats.

Other top teams expected to make it to at least the sweet 16 include Syracuse, Siena, Ohio State, Georgetown and West Virginia.

Jay Bilas, a sports authority, has made his predictions and favors Kansas, Syracuse, West Virginia and Villanova in the final four.  Note that he doesn’t think Kentucky will make it through the tourney.

Barack Obama, our nation’s president, places Kansas and Kentucky in the championship match, with Kansas beating Kentucky.

Dick Vitale has Kansas, Kansas State, Villanova, and Kentucky in the final four with Kentucky and Kansas matching up for the championship game. Kentucky is estimated to be the winner by him.
