NIT Scores 2010 and Mens Basketball Tournament UPDATE.  The first rounds of the NIT men’s basketball tournament was last night, and the second round is going happen soon, which will take us to the quarterfinals.

The NIT tournament will go on until April 1, 2010 where the top two teams will play at the Madison Square Garden for the championship title.

The NIT Tournament bracket is made up of 32 teams selected on Selection Sunday AFTER the 64 top teams were selected for the NCAA tournament.  There are rumors that the NCAA tourney is going to grow to 96 teams, and if that transpires it will be interesting to see what happens to the NIT.

What did you think of the NIT 2010 Men’s basketball scores for the first night? Were there any surprises? The teams that are not written in bold will not be returning for Round 2, which begins today.
