Big Mike This Woman’s Work American Idol Performance and Michael Lynch VIDEO.   American Idol is a great show and Michael Lynch is one of the front runners in the contest.  He’s dedicated to the competition, and even missed his baby’s birth in order to make his way through auditions.

Big Mike even did something that no other Idol performer has ever been able to do – he made Kara cry.  Kara was so touched by his moving performance, that she cried.

Simon Cowell even did the unthinkable and consoled Kara, who joked that he really did have a heart.

“This Woman’s Work” is a piece that was meant to be a tribute to his wife.  He has great respect and delivered his performance flawlessly.

Of course, Big Mike made it  to the top 12, and there’s little doubt that he will make it to the final rounds of the show.  America is very impressed with his talent, and the judges have given him rave reviews.

Another front runner is Crystal Bowersox, who sang Tracy Chapman’s “Give me one Reason to Stay here” last Tuesday and revitalized the ladies’ top 16 performances.  Had she not performed, the night would have been full of good – but not exciting – performances.
