Amy Victoria Beck and an Alleged Relationship with Student.  For the second time in a relatively short period of time, we are hearing about a female high school teacher having a relationship with a teenager.  A Londonderry High School teacher was recently reported to have sent out racy pictures of herself to a teenager, who claims she also kissed him.

Melinda Dennehy, the Londonderry High School teacher, wasn’t charged with having sex with a student.  She was only charged with indecent exposure, as she is presumed to not have actually had a physical encounter with the student other than a couple of kisses in a classroom.

Amy Victoria Beck appears to have taken it to the next level.  She’s charged with a variety of crimes, including lewd or lascivious acts with a child of 14 or 15 years, four counts of unlawful sex with a person under 16, and one count of oral copulation with a person under 16.

Beck is being held on $400,000 bond.  If convicted of all charges, she will face 7 years in jail.  She is a married 33 year old junior high school English & science teacher who has three children.  Even if she doesn’t spend 7 years behind bars, she will lose her career if convicted and could lose her family as well.

CBS News reports that Amy Victoria Beck allegedly taught a 14 year old oral sex. The student in question confirmed to authorities that the sexual relationship did occur, and that they occurred between March and September 2009.
