Lost Season 6 Episode 7 and Dr. Linus Lessons.  Ben Linus as “Dr. Linus” was the focus of Lost Season 6 episode 7.  The doctor was introduced in sideways time, and wasn’t as evil as fans are used to seeing. Ben may never gain his evil powers back or reclaim his throne, but Dr. Linus will be able to cope (or at least that’s how it appears.)

Remember how Ben told Ilana how a monster killed Jacob? Being that Jacob was a father figure to both Ilana and Ben, Ilana tells Ben to dig a grave.

Dr. Linus is powerless in the parallel world. He’s stuck in the public school system. With prodding from a substitute and a prized student, and Dr. Artz he succeeds at a quest for power that would have been impossible for Ben.

The focus on episode 7 was on Ben. This is his story, and there are still those that won’t be able to see past his psychopath ways. Although, they might have to until the very end.  The writers of Lost are very good at keeping the story twisting and turning, always wondering what is next.

In the midst of Ben’s story, Richard, Jack, and Hurley went to Black Rock on a journey.  Richard and Jack got their faith back, in surprising ways and from surprising sources.

What did you think about Ben’s story in Lost season 6 episode 7? Was it everything you hoped for? Next week, Sawyer lovers are in for a treat – even though he’s been gone the past two episodes, he resurfaces and gains the focus in episode 8.
