HP Windows 7 Slate and iPad are 2 Popular Tablets
March 9th, 2010
HP Windows 7 Slate and iPad are 2 Popular Tablets. April3 is the day that computing as we know it could change forever. Apple is releasing their iPad touch screen tablet with Wi-Fi capabilities. Pre-sale begins March 12. Those that desire a 3G version of the iPad will have to wait a little longer and pay a monthly fee.
Did Apple honestly think that they could place a tablet on the market without so much as a single competitor? HP Windows 7 Slate is the competitor.
The HP Windows 7 Slate even does something that the iPad does not – it displays flash. This is something that many Apple users really miss in some of the Apple products.
Dell is another contender that pledges a “family of tablets” in the coming year. Although the iPad will be the first on the market, HP claims that their tablet will be for sale within the year.
How will this affect sales of the popular Apple product? Will people hold off on purchasing the Apple iPad in order to see what the HP Windows 7 tablet is all about?
HP pledges that their tablet will have “no watered-down internet and no sacrifices.”
What do you think? Are you for the Apple iPad or the HP Windows 7 Tablet?
