New XBox 360 Announced by Microsoft – Features and Release Date.  The serious gamer is excited about the new XBox 360.  Boasting a newly redesigned body and whisper quiet fans, the new gaming console from Microsoft is going to quickly become a gamer favorite.

The New XBox 36o is called the XBox 360 250GB Slim. The sleek black console will look ultra cool in your entertainment center.  The unit includes a built in 250 GB hard drive, so there’s no trying to guess if you bought the box with or without the hard drive. The downfall is that the new console is that it doesn’t work with the old hard drive and memory cards. However, you can save your data to a USB drive and transfer the data to the hard drive of your new XBox.

The unit also comes with a 802.11n wireless capability, making it much easier to play XBox 360 live.  In addition, it boasts 5 USB ports, HDMI port, and a port for the Kinect.

If you want the true gaming experience, don’t forget to look into Microsoft’s new feature, the Kinect.  This is the way you can play games without a controller – using your body.
