Sandra Bullock Oscar Acceptance Speech an Amazing Speech by Beautiful Best Actress (VIDEO).  Sandra Bullock beat out Meryl Streep for the 2010 Best Actress in a Lead Role Oscar.  Many at the Academy Awards were not surprised that Bullock pulled off this accomplishment, given her great role in the movie “The Blind Side.”

In the movie, Bullock played Leigh Ann Tuoy, a wealthy Memphian who took a homeless teenager she found walking on the street with no coat in to her home and adopted him. The teenager became an NFL football star thanks to her determination and guidance.

Sandra even went as far as to turn her signature brunette locks in for blonde locks for her role in the film.

Also noteworthy is that Bullock won both best and worst actress this year.  She won a 2010 Razzie award for worst actress for her role in “All About Steve.”  She also received a second Razzie for worst on-screen couple alongside Brad Cooper for the same movie.  She is the first actress in history to be both the best and the worst at the same time.
