New XBox 360 Announced by Microsoft – XBox 360 250GB Slim. Gamers all over are excited about the new XBox 360, which is available for $299 as we speak. The new unit is visibly different from its predecessor, as it is black in color and ultra thin. There are some new features that many gamers desire as well. These features make this one of the hottest game console currently on the market.
The new XBox 360 has a 250 GB hard drive already included in the unit. There’s no guessing on whether you bought the unit with or without the hard drive. There’s 802.11 n wireless connectivity. There’s 5 USB ports, an HDMI port and a port that works with the new Kinect unit.
The new unit is also whisper quiet, replacing the two fans in the older model with one fan that will keep the console cool. Previously serious gamers complained that the console was loud whenever the fan kicked in.
If there’s a downside it’s that the new XBox doesn’t work with the old memory cards and the old Hard Drive. Those who have games saved on an old unit will have to download the data to a USB drive in order to upload it to the new unit. This could be cumbersome.
However, the new XBox 36o is sure to be a hit. Serious gamers need to pick up this console as soon as possible to begin enjoying its benefits.
