Alice in Wonderland 2010 Review and Burton and Depp Alice in Wonderland Buzz. The 2010 rendition of popular Disney film Alice in Wonderland has been released. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have met before in films like Edward Scissorhands. Now, the duo has taken the popular children’s cartoon and turned it in to a dark, 3D fantasy world.
You wouldn’t expect anything other than a little sprinkle of the dark side here and there from Tim Burton. Remember, he’s the one that brought us Nightmare before Christmas. However, the unique way that Burton crafts his masterpieces make them dark, yet not creepy.
As with any film, there are going to be mixed reviews. You can review positive and negative reviews from the critics by clicking here.
There have been several reader reviews on our first piece about Tim Burton’s masterpiece. The reviews have been mostly positive, with a few that note that the movie is a good children’s movie.
One reader indicated that the original books were dark and mysterious- not the fairy tale that we have grown up watching.
Another reader had a great point. They don’t read movie reviews from critics because everyone has their own point of view. Just because some film buff doesn’t think that Alice in Wonderland 2010 is a great film, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t see it.
