Kate Plus 8 Series Premiere – Kate Gosselin and Kids Return Tonight. Gosselin fans are going to be excited! The return of Kate plus 8 takes place tonight on TLC.  The show will be missing one thing – Jon Gosselin.  After last summer’s very dramatic and very public divorce, Jon Gosselin got it so that his kids could not be filmed.  All that changed and tonight the new season of Kate Plus 8 kicks off.

The show will feature the children on their 6th birthday. Instead of being home in Pennsylvania, they are celebrating in Orlando, Florida at Discovery Cove.  Of course, you gotta have some drama – the kids have a major meltdown after missing naptime.

Kate Gosselin has been seen on Dancing with the Stars.  She’s worked hard to try to keep her household running.  A nurse by trade, she wouldn’t be able to make enough to sustain the lifestyle that the kids lived during “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ which is why it’s great for the kids that this TLC show is on.

Kate has a lot of fans and a lot of foes.  Some will tune in to watch because they find Kate an inspiration, others will tune in because they can’t stand her and want ammunition for their next round of Kate-bashing.  Doesn’t matter why you tune in – the ratings are expected to be hot.

Kate plus 8 premieres at 9/8c tonight on TLC.
