American Idol 2010 Recap: 16 Amazing Idol Hopefuls Remain.  Last night voters removed 4 finalists from the American Idol 2010 hopefuls list.  After amazing performances by Crystal Bowersox and Michael Lynch given on Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively – it’s time to weed out some of the not-so-hot singers and get closer to the next American Idol.

In case you missed it, a rundown of the top 10 girls’ performances can be found here.

Here is a rundown of the top men’s performances

Last night the four voted off were:

John Park

Jermaine Sellers

Michelle Delamor

Haeley Vaughn

Jermaine Sellers noted that “In God, there is no failure. I leave here happy.” He was voted off after a less-than-stellar performance of “What’s Going On.”

Haley Vaughn put the audience through another screetchy rendition of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb.”

Still yet, the strongest performers are still there.  Last week, everyone was shocked that Tim Urban didn’t get sent packing.  This week, there seems to be little controversy over the singer staying put on the show.

Simon complimented Crystal Bowersox on Wednesday night, saying that she’s like Kelly Clarkson.  Will this mean that she will be one of the final two left standing?

Every week we inch closer to the end of the season.  This time, it will be bittersweet as Simon Cowell is leaving to work on his American version of his British show, “X Factor.”  This means that we won’t be without Cowell for long, but Idol fans are surely anxious to find out who his replacement is.

(But they are more anxious to find out who the next American Idol will be.)

What do you think about those who were voted off American Idol?
