Dancing with the Stars 2010 Lineup and Cast Create Buzz.  Season 10 of DWTS kicks off on March 22.  The lineup and cast have created a buzz since Monday when they were announced during the season finale of the Bachelor.

In addition to the cast and lineup, there is also the issue of Dancing with the Stars pairings.  Each celebrity cast member is paired up with a trained dancer. This ensures that everyone has a fair chance of learning all the moves.

The celebrity lineup consists of Kate Gosselin, Pamela Anderson, Erin Andrews, Chad Ochocinco, Evan Lysacek, Niecy Nash, Aiden Turner, Buzz Alrin, Nicole Scherzinger, Shannen Doherty, and Jake Pavelka.

Gosselin and Pavelka are both former reality TV show stars.  Nicole Scherzinger is a Pussycat doll, meaning she’s already a trained dancer.  However, she’s not a ballroom dancer so she might have some of the same difficulties as other contestants.

Buzz Aldrin is a former Astronaut who was on the moon with Neil Armstrong.  He’s 80 years old, but he’s got spunky energy and he might just surprise everyone that thinks he’s too old for the competition.

Kate Gosselin is a controversial cast member. Her ex-husband Jon Gosselin is said to want more time with his kids now that Kate is on the show.  The family used to be featured on TLC’s hit series “Jon and Kate plus 8″ but the show’s plug was pulled when Jon didn’t want his kids filmed anymore.

Kate didn’t stay out of the spotlight for long – she’s on DWTS and there are rumors floating around out there that she is going to have her own show.
