American Idol top 20 Season 9 and predictions.  Last week, the top 24 contestants on season 9 of one of America’s favorite shows was whittled down to the top 20.  There were plenty of surprises and disappointments as America spoke out.

Now that we got rid of four contestants (details as to what the judges said and general responses from the public can be found here) the competition must go on.  On Tuesday, the show will return and we will once again hear some more performances from these final 20 contestants.

Who do you think should be voted off? There’s a lot of speculation that Tim Urban will be among the next booted off.  Simon even said that they made the “correct decision” when they failed to initially include him in the top 24.  After Chris Golightly’s contract issues, Urban was brought back – but for how long?

Other than Urban, reports are mixed over who should be voted off.  So much will depend on next week’s performances.  Still yet, the American Idol buzz is hot. Please leave your thoughts and season 9 predictions below.
