2010 Matt Lauer Alleged Affair and Cheating Scandal Denied. Word got out a few days back that Matt Lauer was having an affair and allegedly stormed out of his 12 year marriage.  After a couple days of harsh rumors, Matt Lauer and his wife Annette are speaking out about the allegations.

Matt Lauer denies the affair claims, and denies that he walked out on his wife of 12 years and their three children.  He notes that their marriage wasn’t perfect, and admitting that his wife filed for divorce briefly in 2006, but dropped proceedings.

Lauer also says that the reports of infidelity are “ridiculous” and that he’s not going to “dignify them with an answer.”

Annette, his wife, said the same thing and “stood up” for their family and protect them from the accusations.

Of course, the National Enquirer broke the story. Although they are a tabloid, they have broke many celebrity stories of infidelity that turned out to be true, such as Tiger Woods and John Edwards.

Still, if Matt Lauer and his wife deny the allegations, then they simply aren’t true. After all…he is innocent until proven guilty.  Or found unconscious outside his vehicle with his wife weilding a golf club.
