iPhone 4g Release Date 2010 & Droid Evo Release Date on Sprint (June 4)

May 13th, 2010

iPhone 4g Release Date 2010 & Droid Evo Release Date on Sprint (June 4). The iPhone 4g release date is rumored to be sometime this summer. After all, the iPhone 4.0 OS is going to come out then, so why not a newly re-designed handset? Of course, Steve Jobs and the Cupertino, California based company may want to let the OS get released, get reviews on it, and then offer the iPhone 4g once all is said and done.

On the Android front, the Sprint Evo 4g has a June 4 release date set, and that’s really exciting for many people who are on the Sprint network and were drooling over Verizon’s recent release of the Incredible. The Evo is the first 4g capable phone to hit the market, and Sprint is the first network with limited 4g coverage.  While their coverage areas are spotty for 4g, they are still leaps and bounds ahead of AT&T and Verizon in this aspect.

Many are speculating that the iPhone 4g will be announced at the WWDC conference in June.  The annual Apple event sold out in 8 days – which isn’t surprising because this year is a big year for Apple with the iPad and the hype surrounding an new iPhone.
