Tier 5 Unemployment Benefits Extension Americans Don’t Let the Fight Die Down

Tier 5 Unemployment Benefits Extension Americans Don’t Let the Fight Die Down. The Tier 5 unemployment benefit extension is taking a back seat to the Greek Debt crisis, the stock market, and the various bomb attempts in the country. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s any less important. It’s important for the long-term unemployed to ensure that they don’t let the fight die down.
Millions of Americans have exhausted their unemployment benefits. There are currently four tiers that are available, based on the unemployment rate of the state that the individual resides in.
Therefore, tiers 1-4 are not guaranteed; Congress would like you to believe that they are, but they aren’t. There has been a temporary extension of tiers 1-4 until May 30 this year, at which case legislation extending said tiers until December 31, 2010 is hoped to be available.
If it’s not, once again people on tiers 1-4 will lose their benefits until the legislation can be passed, or another extension is given.
But a tier 5 would open up the doors to those in the hardest hit states that can’t find work – not even at Taco Bell or Exxon.
In addition, job creation instead of job loss would be a great alternative to an unemployment bill. Putting people to work would help them keep their dignity, pay their bills, and get back on their feet again.
So tell your Congressman you want Tier 5 or JOB CREATIONS.

Hey, you used to write outstanding, but the last few posts have been kinda boring¡K I miss your super writings. Past couple of posts are just a bit out of track! come on!
When your unemployment compensation expires, continue certifying your status with your state so the official “unemployment rate” will more accurately reflect the dire emergency of the country.
